Hey it's been awhile has it?

I came here to maybe to throw down some thoughts I had in terms of me doing artwork. Nothing has changed, and my dream is still near and dear in my heart. I guess I'm fighting with myself to make pretty illustrations but also keeping a cartoony bounce with them. It's kinda hard because I know my artistic voice matters but I guess the root of it is comparing myself to others my age.

I know I can do better which is the reason I continue to experiment with stuff though none of it comes out to what I like. It's this constant push and pull of wanting to be myself in art but also changing things because I feel like my stuff is too simple.

I still draw, and I study. Hell, I have so much motivation right now. Just picking up a pencil or pen right now sucks because in my mind I keep telling myself even after I finish something that I can do better. Anyways, I hope this doesn't come off vent-y or anything I'm just a lil frustrated with drawing. It shows since I haven't uploaded much of anything on my social media since I'm constantly second guessing.

Honestly I really wasn't expecting to get front paged at all. I went to sleep and woke up with a bunch of notifications today. 

Anyways I wanted to upload more, but I only enjoy posting things I think came out decent? I hardly upload stuff I think came out badly, but I'm hoping mayhaps that'll change going into 2019. Though I'm very happy y'all really enjoy my Smash bros pic that took awhile and I was fighting with myself along the way to finish it! I never expected the large response coming fourth from it.

But ye the support here is p 10/10 and that's all I really had to say.

College has been so draining I couldn't do Inktober this year. I was a lil sad but ya know life kinda be like that sometimes. Any moment I thought I was free of the confines of school professors wanna stack more shit on top of me. I have about a week to go then finals, and as each day passes the more excited I get having free time to draw. I wanted to refine some of the sketch ideas for my comic that I wanna do in the future. Maybe try working on drawing more backgrounds and enviorments. Anyways I'm excited to share what I have to offer during the upcoming break, and hearing any feedback y'all are willing to give me.

Sorry for the lack of uploads school and life is eating up my time. There's stuff in the works I'm super hyped for! Surprisingly I heard a ton of nice news right after not getting into Anime Expo's Artist Alley...kinda weird tbh. Ahhh I'm a lil' bummed but I'm sure I'll get over it sooner than later. Though that failed there's a lot of other neat stuff I'm gonna do mostly partcipating in contests and stuff of that nature. Gonna try to apply to a lot of different things, and see if anything sticks I guess.

The main point of this is to say I'm gonna try my best to do Inktober this year. I did 29/31 days last year and it was so much fun! I'm aimming to do at least all 31 days this year. I might upload my good stuff on here? I'll admit I'm mostly doing this since I have a terrible shakey hand and still trying to get better at inking traditional. If I feel maybe something isn't meeting quality or I'm having a bad day I won't really post it. I'll post everyday on my other social media,but ehhhh idk I want keep decentish stuff onto here. Btw I'm not going off any prompts either just gonna draw everyday, and just try in general. Anyway to those who are partcipating I wish you luck!
